This was a build project about 2003-2004.
The
basis assembly of the box complete. The framing inside and liners are
glued in, like Northern harpsichord construction, once the case is
glued together.
My
attempts to use the square cut nails supplied to fix the corners while
glueing were not totally successful and I ended up using clamps as
shown in the lid flap picture below. This puts dings in the wood which
need filling. Hence the benefit of the painted finish!
